Our hotel, LE TERRIL BLANC, opened in 1967, is part of the history of Tignes. It is located in Tignes le Lac, within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants as well as the Lagon, Tignes’ superb aquatic centre.
It is the second hotel in France to be awarded the “Friendly” label for its commitment to welcoming LGBT guests.
The Terril Blanc welcomes you in a colourful and warm setting, ideally located on the edge of the Tignes lake with a view of the Tufs massif. Sincerity and simplicity are our watchwords. You are at home here.
Fitness activities will take place outside on the lawns in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, while its large south-facing terrace will welcome you for lunch, drinks and our daily lounges from 4pm to 7pm.
The hotel has a 3-bedroom apartemen for 6 people with breakfast as an option and rooms with breakfast included.
Rooms are available for single, twin, double or triple occupancy.
The apartment and the rooms offer an exceptional and unique view of the lake, the Tufs and the Grande Motte massifs.

Bar and restaurant
The bar is the jewel of the hotel! Located by the lake with a breathtaking view, it is open from 11am to 8:30pm / 9pm. Come and have an aperitif with friends and the magic will happen!
The breakfast room, located right next to the reception, has a breathtaking view of the Tufs and Grande Motte mountains! The buffet breakfast is served from 07:30 to 09:30. And then, hop…a little tour on the adjoining terrace to enjoy the beautiful panorama…enough to feast your eyes on before starting the sports activities!

The rooms are south or south-west/east facing, they all have a balcony and offer a breathtaking view of the Tignes lake and the Tufs massif. With a surface area of 15 to 18m2, they are available in single (1 person, 1 double bed), twin (2 people, 2 single beds), double (2 people, 1 double bed) or triple (3 single beds or 1 double bed+1 single bed) occupancy.
They are equipped with a bathroom, separate toilet, Wifi and decorated with care and attention reflecting the cocooning spirit of the Terril Blanc.
The apartment is south facing with 2 large windows overlooking the lake and the Tufs massif. Located on the ground floor, it includes a living room with TV, a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single bunk beds and a 3rd open bedroom with 2 single beds) and a bathroom with shower and toilet. WIFI disponible dans l’appartement.
